Scanner works well and quickly with simple press of a button. Can read 1D and 2D barcodes without software. Wired connection is required for function (no batteries) - wiring shows no sign of bends or breaks. Holding chassis is solid and well built, as well as adjustable. Particularly useful for scanning laboratory barcodes, purchases, etc. The scanner has a lightweight design with a scratch-resistant tempered glass exit window.
